The Marstons Mills Cemetery was established in 1775 and is the resting place of many of the village's early settlers, with its oldest graves nearest the road. Beside it stands a small hearse house built about 1885 to shelter the village hearse, one of only two such structures surviving in Barnstable, and the cemetery and hearse house were listed together on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Marstons Mills Cemetery, on Route 149 in the Marstons Mills village of Barnstable, was established around 1775 and served this mill-village community on Cape Cod. Its stones span the late colonial and early republic periods, documenting the families who worked the local grist and fulling mills. The cemetery is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
