History

Katharine Smith Dos Passos, a writer and the first wife of the novelist John Dos Passos, is buried at Snow Cemetery in Truro; she died in a 1947 automobile accident that also injured her husband. Snow Cemetery is the resting place of numerous artists and writers associated with the Cape Cod colony.
