About this walk

From a first class of just sixteen students to Nobel-winning RNA research, the state's only public medical school rose on the shore of Lake Quinsigamond.

A campus is an argument in brick about what education is for. Worcester has a long-running one. Four stops over 1.2 miles, about 18 minutes of driving. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.

Worcester has 15 MassRoam tours and no two cover the same ground. It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
