About this walk

Rebuilt on Salisbury Street after a 1953 tornado destroyed its original home, Assumption University carries a distinctly French Catholic heritage into modern Worcester.

Every campus tells one story to visitors and another to itself. This walk covers both. Four stops over 0.1 miles, about 16 minutes of driving. Every stop narrates itself when you get there, at whatever pace you feel like walking.

It is one of 15 tours in Worcester, each taking a different line through the city. Nothing is booked and nothing expires, so you can start it on a whim and finish it whenever you like.
