The river town that shaped a founder of the NAACP
Towns decide what they are going to be, usually in a handful of streets. These are the ones in Great Barrington. Five stops over 5.4 miles, about 31 minutes of driving. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.
Great Barrington has four MassRoam tours and no two cover the same ground. It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
