About this walk

A walk through the mill buildings of the country's longest continuously operating nail factory

Water, brick and labour built Wareham. All three are still visible if you know where to look. Four stops over 0.2 miles, about 35 minutes of walking. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.

Wareham has two MassRoam tours and no two cover the same ground. It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
