Salem After Dark II: Judges, Jurors & the Ledge

The trial-era house, the true execution site, and the harbor fort that outlasted them all

Salem after dark is not the Salem of the daytime crowds. This walk takes the darker route. Five stops over 4.3 miles, about two hours of walking. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.

Salem has nine MassRoam tours and no two cover the same ground. It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
