One of only a handful of freestanding mortuary schools in the country, FINE has quietly trained New England's funeral directors from a small Norwood campus since 1996.
A campus is an argument in brick about what education is for. Norwood has a long-running one. Four stops over 1.4 miles, about an hour of walking. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.
It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
