About this walk

Founded in 1834 as a memorial to a judge's late daughter, Wheaton drew on Mary Lyon herself to build a women's seminary that became a respected liberal arts college.

A campus is an argument in brick about what education is for. Norton has a long-running one. Six stops over 0.4 miles, about 55 minutes of walking. Each one starts talking the moment you reach it, so you can keep your eyes on the street instead of a screen.

There is no start time to make — walk it in one go, or leave the rest for another afternoon.
