About this walk

Built almost overnight in 1947 to educate a generation of returning WWII veterans, Merrimack has grown from a commuter college into a fast-expanding Augustinian university on a 220-acre North Andover hilltop.

Every campus tells one story to visitors and another to itself. This walk covers both. Four stops over 0.0 miles, about 32 minutes of walking. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.

It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
