About this walk

Founded in 1851 by a Williams College chemist who died in its first semester, Lasell is often called America's first lasting junior college, and still stages a runway fashion show every spring.

Every campus tells one story to visitors and another to itself. This walk covers both. Six stops over 0.6 miles, about 59 minutes of walking. Each one starts talking the moment you reach it, so you can keep your eyes on the street instead of a screen.

Of the four MassRoam tours in Newton, this is the campus one. There is no start time to make — walk it in one go, or leave the rest for another afternoon.
