About this walk

Founded on a bare hill a brickmaker promised to "put a light on," Tufts is one of the only universities whose mascot is a real circus elephant.

A campus is an argument in brick about what education is for. Medford has a long-running one. Five stops over 0.8 miles, about 55 minutes of walking. Each one starts talking the moment you reach it, so you can keep your eyes on the street instead of a screen.

There is no start time to make — walk it in one go, or leave the rest for another afternoon.
