A literary pilgrimage through the mill city that made a Beat writer
Books come from somewhere. This walk goes to the streets behind them in Lowell. Five stops over 6.2 miles, about two and a half hours of walking. Every stop narrates itself when you get there, at whatever pace you feel like walking.
It is one of six tours in Lowell, each taking a different line through the city. Nothing is booked and nothing expires, so you can start it on a whim and finish it whenever you like.
