A planned industrial city built around a network of power canals
Water, brick and labour built Holyoke. All three are still visible if you know where to look. Five stops over 1.2 miles, about 22 minutes of driving. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.
Holyoke has two MassRoam tours and no two cover the same ground. It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
