About this walk
Perched on a wooded Gardner hilltop named for the mountain to its south, "the Mount" pairs affordable two-year education with a nationally recognized renewable-energy campus crowned by two wind turbines.
Every campus tells one story to visitors and another to itself. This walk covers both. Four stops over 1.8 miles, about an hour of walking. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.
It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
