About this walk

The teacher-training school Horace Mann started in 1839, the first of its kind in the country, grew into a university that later educated Challenger astronaut Christa McAuliffe.

A campus is an argument in brick about what education is for. Framingham has a long-running one. Six stops over 1.0 miles, about an hour of walking. Each one starts talking the moment you reach it, so you can keep your eyes on the street instead of a screen.

There is no start time to make — walk it in one go, or leave the rest for another afternoon.
