Concord to the Berkshires to Salem — the houses where American literature got written

Books come from somewhere. This walk goes to the streets behind them in Concord. Six stops over 296.3 miles, about eleven hours of driving. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.

Concord has five MassRoam tours and no two cover the same ground. It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
