About this walk

The largest contemporary music college on Earth grew up one building at a time across Boston's Back Bay — and its graduates have won more Grammys than any other school's.

A campus is an argument in brick about what education is for. Boston has a long-running one. Four stops over 0.4 miles, about 40 minutes of walking. The story for each stop plays as you arrive, so nothing has to be looked up and nobody has to be followed.

Boston has 50 MassRoam tours and no two cover the same ground. It works as well at eight in the morning as it does at dusk. Stop for coffee, pick it back up.
