Granville Grange

This district is a 19th-century industrial village in Granville dominated by a single employer, the Noble and Cooley Drum Factory. It retains many extant Greek Revival and Victorian structures that relate directly to the drum factory and the development of that industry, giving the village a cohesive historic character. Its principal areas of significance are architecture, community planning and development, and industry, with a period of significance spanning roughly 1810 to 1940. The district meets National Register Criteria A and C at the local level.
