History
The Brimfield Civil War Soldiers Monument stands on the town common on Main Street and was raised in 1866 to honor local men who served the Union during the Civil War. Erected soon after the war's end, it is among the earlier soldiers' monuments in the region. It is a contributing property in a National Register historic district.
