History

Old Worden Cemetery, on Route 6A in Dennis, is among the earliest burial grounds on Cape Cod, with origins dated to the late seventeenth century. Its oldest markers reflect the plain slate carving of colonial New England, and the yard lies within a local historic district along the historic King's Highway (Route 6A) corridor. It preserves the graves of some of the earliest settlers of the Dennis area.
