History
Dillingham Cemetery, on Stony Brook Road in Brewster, was established in 1705 and takes its name from the Dillingham family, among the area's earliest English settlers. One of the town's oldest burial grounds, it holds colonial-era slate stones from the first generations who farmed the Stony Brook valley. It is a contributing property in a National Register historic district.
