History

The Dennis Memorial Library at 1020 Old Bass River Road grew out of the Memorial Library Association, incorporated in 1923 to build and maintain a library for the village of Dennis. The building was completed in 1924 and dedicated as a memorial to the town's veterans of World War I. It continues to operate as one of the association libraries serving the town of Dennis.
