"Dancing Mother" is an outdoor sculpture at 460 Commercial Street in Provincetown's East End, long a summer artists' colony. It is the work of the American sculptor Chaim Gross, recorded here to about 1956, and reflects the modernist art scene that flourished in Provincetown in the mid-twentieth century. The piece is a contributing feature of the town's National Register historic district.
