The Ahearn House (also known as the David Curran House) on Pamet Point Road in Wellfleet is an early 19th-century, 1.5-story, timber-framed three-quarter Cape house set on a brick foundation, accompanied by a 19th-century summer house. Its Federal-period pilastered entrance, 9/6 sash, and largely unaltered central floor plan make it a noteworthy and little-altered example of 19th-century Cape Cod domestic architecture. Now within Cape Cod National Seashore, it is one of only five 19th-century Cape Cod style houses identified among the Park Service's holdings and the only three-quarter Cape among them, an important reminder of the outer Cape's former agricultural settlement.
